The story begins in the year 2000 when the whole world is literally shaken by the "Second Impact" obliterating the majority of Antarctica in its initial contact causing cataclismic earthquakes, tsunamis and ultimately shifted the earth's axial tilt consdierable enough for a sudden global climate change. It was publicly stated that it was a meteorite impact traveling at nearly the speed of light, however, it was later revealed the top secret experiment "Angels: Adam" caused this tragedy. The experiments were sponsodred by the mysterious organization Seele, and carried out by the research organization Gehirn.
