Going back to the anime, the series starts off as a mysterious specimen known as "Proxy" is being tested by the government. These mysterious humanoid life forms are believed to be the key to the survival of mankind. The setting is an isolated dome where total order is held by the same government doing the secret testing. In this utopia, humans and androids co-exist peacefully. However, recent murderous acts have started appearing in this perfectly harmonized society and threatens to ruin it. This is when our Amy Lee look-alike protagonist named Re-l Mayer is sent in to investigate the murders, and the fun begins.
