Saya Otonashi would seem like an ordinary school girl in first look, but more of her meets the eye. On top of the fact that she was an adopted daughter with amnesia and anemia unable to recall her previous life, she finds out that she is the only one able to kill demons. The last of her kind able to kill Chiropterans, maniacal demonic figures with amazing strength. The plot deepens as she embarks on a journey to rid the world of Chiropterans and recover her lost memory.
