Long long time ago when the entire world was at peace, the four nations of fire, earth, wind, and water lived peacefully amongst each other. The delicate balance was maintained by the one powerful being called the "Avatar" with the ability to wield all the four elements. However, everything abruptly changed when the fire nation decides to wage war against the other nations. Just when the world needed him the most, the Avatar vanishes with no trace. A hundred years later and the world is still drenched in the chaos of war, Katara a waterbender together with her brother Sokka discovers a small child name Aang trapped inside frozen iceberg and releases him. It turns out he was the missing Avatar. Their journey moves on as Aang, the last airbender, goes on a quest to master all the 4 elements and become the legendary Avatar.
